08/09/2009 MY FMThe No.1 Chinese Radio Station in Malaysia is celebrating their 11th Anniversary. Their last station was held in AEON Bukit Tinggi Klang on last weekend 8/8/09.
Happy Birthday to MY FM, wish you will always be No.1 and bring us more excitement and entertainment. 07/19/2008 Movies Marathon Fuh... its been ages since i last review about movie. Well, let me start with the last movie I watched. Warning: Possible spoiler for some patrons 1) Journey To The Center Of The Earth Story line: nice, adventurous, funny, slight warming about brother-hood and man-hood, simple, easy to understand Appearance: Graphic effect is so so, scenery/dinasour/fish are very cin chai. The mine riding scene would be nicer if it is watched with 3D glass. Rating: 6/10 2) Hellboy 2: The Golden Army Story line: Like the beginning part where they show Hellboy when he is still a little red boy. Really helps for those doesn't watch first episode. Action and some how humorous. Slight disappointed with the golden army fighting scene. Appearance: Overall multimedia effect has improved a lot since first movie in year 2004 (apparently new technology was developed). Rating: 7/10 3) Hancock Story line: Family relationship, action, slight comedy. A total upside down of how a hero was portrait, fresh idea. Appearance: Looks ok, nice breaking patterns on the bricks Rating: 7/10 4) Wanted Story line: Incredible and very fictional storyline. Gotta have really open mind to enjoy this show. Appearance: Nothing else is really matter when hot Angelina Jolie and hunky James McAvoy is around. Rating: 7/10
5) Made of Honor 03/02/2008 五月天 Mayday is in town. 五月天,帶有亞洲男子天團之稱的組合 This is a meet the fans and signature session held in Sg.Wang Fiesta Street KL on 1/3/08 8pm. Pardon me for this picture, 怪獸 was blocked by speaker. 阿信 still is as cute as he always is. There were numbers of 阿信 look-alike guys in the mall, must be hard core fans imitating their idol. Got this Mayday Genting concert flyers from the event. Hanging on CPU together with Jay's Kung Fu Dunk. Yes, I'm going to this concert on 19/4/2008. Already bought the tickets Today I also bought a new set of Sonic Gear Speaker from Low Yat Plaza. (RM49.00) Not very fancy, but sounds quality is better than my old speaker (that's of course). Bass a bit too heavy though. Have to manually adjust in Equalizer. 02/04/2008 Kung Fu Dunk Last weekend on the 2nd Feb, Jay Chou (周杰伦) had made his appearance together with co star and director from the movie Kung Fu Dunk in KL Ruums Club.
I was lucky enough to get an invitation card to attend this event. This party is sponsored by Anglia, the Real Shandy. The crowd wasn't really big, maybe is due to strict admission of the club or event organiser. I was sitting upstairs together with other GAB VIP guests. Well, literally, we are standing the whole time to get a good view. Hell lot of digital cameras. Cute Jay chou was kinda quiet in the event, both the emcee did a lot of talking the whole night. Hope this movie Kung Fu Dunk can achieve 6 million dollar in Malaysia. This movie will start showing on first day of Lunar New Year, 7th Feb 2008. See you in cinema! For more photos on this event, please proceed to photo album sector (Jay Chou in Ruums, KL) 12/18/2006 100 Perfect Concert![]() Beautiful Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil in the evening of last saturday, where Absolute Entertainment held an 100 Perfect Concert. Among the artists performed that night are Micheal Wong (Guang Liang), Ah Du, JJ, Lim Yu Zhong, Zhang Xin Ze, Jin Sa...etc.
![]() Thats a cheap, ahem, i mean economic ticket i bought. (after promotion discount, i only pay RM39, hahaha).
Ticket RM52 are to be seated at Tier 3, the highest tier. Almost reaching the roof.
![]() And since that we are sitting at the tier 3, this is the view of stage we've got.
![]() Yes, this is a true distance photo scale. Even the big projector screen looks like a 15" tv to me.
We are so far away from the stage that, even the sounds are blur when it reaches our ear drums here in tier 3.
My goodness....
Although this is a budget concert, but it was really awesome. Afterall, this is for the sake of charity for chinese education.
Sci Fi FestivalOn last saturday, me and SH went to this Sci Fi Festival in Cineleisure Damansara. Hoping to catch some actions of Keroro gunso, or Yagumi Light (Death Note).
But what we saw is...
![]() Freddy and some guy with parang. I think thats the retarted-turned-mummy kid in a sequel of Freddy movie.
on top of that, this charactor from Predator was the photogenic among the cosplay available.
![]() He is actually kinda huge.
We also saw a cute ang moh in brown vest walking around, but we do not know who is he cosplaying. So we left the place without taking his picture. And went to quick laksa lunch before going to watch Eragon.
As we watch Eragon, it doesnt takes long for me to realise the cute ang moh we abandoned was Eragon!!!
ah...wat a waste.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Crying in pain.
12/06/2006 Why the differences?Hehe... This friday me and my frens are going to sing k.
And while surfing the xxxbox website for room booking, i realised that the box in PJ is more expensive compared to Kl's box.
This is KL
![]() And..this is PJ...
![]() The difference could be as big as RM10!!! wah lau eh...
**Note: 黄金时间 = golden hour
I'm screaming in my heart, "Why?!"
God knows? Perhaps KL people doesn't stay in KL after work for entertainment, they rush to PJ, to squeeze with PJ's, Shah Alam's and Klang's citizens. And since that it is so hot cake in PJ, the "smart" entrepreneurs took this opportunity to over charge the consumers. hahaha..
But then, if we consider on the parking rate of KL and PJ where most KL plaza charge about RM4 per hour, while PJ malls' car park is only RM1 per entry! I think we are even.
07/10/2005 The story beginsEvery story has a begining...so that it could had an end.
A hero is born, not because it is meant to be, but it's because he has to be.
Hero its not only a character in movies, we see heroes in everyday life too.
A doctor that just finished an operation successfully, he is hero to the patient.
A life guard in water theme park had just save a kid from drowning, he is a hero.
A mother that wake you up in the morning you have important meeting or presentation, she is your hero.
A hawker or mamak that served you foods in mid night save you from hunger, he is your hero for that night.
"Hero" is usually defined as someone who has done something brave.
Less popularly, "hero" is also defined as someone you admire for their intelligence, abilities or personal qualities.
In the movie Batman Begins, Rachel Dawes (Katie Holmes) said to Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale), "It's not what beneath you, but it's what you do defines you."
It is so true, especially when apply on today's society. Everyone is too busy to know people around them, clock is running too fast. Our every act gives impression on what we are. Fresh graduates working hard during probation periods to convince the boss, and it is not expect the boss to know that deep inside you, are one of the hell responsible, caring person. A prisoner have to act or do good to gain early release, because the officer wouldn't notice if he is an good person that was truely regreted on what he did in the past, deep in his heart. The list goes on...and so forth.
Still not getting what i'm saying?? Catch Batman Begins in cinema today!
