07/08/2009 Man in The MirrorThis entry was inspired by a song titled Man In The Mirror sang by late King of Pop Michael Jackson (1958-2009). As we all know that he is a remarkable singer that holds multiple legends in his career and life. 06/13/2009 H1N1 Influenza A advertisementWe heard a lot of news about Swine flu to H1N1 Influenza A for the past 2 months. We change our travel plan on where can go, where cannot go to avoid being infected. For example, this ad – Come play in the snow in Melbourne, and get H1N1 for free! 06/01/2009 SOP needed01/28/2009 Think about it"If you look at what you do not have in life, you don't have anything"
"If you look at what you have in life, you have everything!"
Have you ever think like that? 01/03/2009 Happy New Year 2009!Hi there, so long since my last entry. Feel so sorry about my blog.
First of all, Happy New Year.
May 2009 will be better year
Filled with joy, wealth and most of all health.
Usually we like to put up a list of new year resolution,
and then gets frustrated in the last month of the year when still have bundles of things undone.
Nevertheless, we still repeatly do it every year.
Because we still believe, we could achieve more, we could be better.
My 2009 resolutions are:
1. Visit FF to exercise 3 times a week
2. Write more blogs, at least 1 entry per week, total 52 entries in a year
3. Vist www.kennysia.com more frequent to keep myself updated with happening events
4. Give more helps to other people
In order to ensure i complete my resolutions, i better come out with a masterplan, and strictly following it.
Afterall, these resolutions doesn't sounds so difficult to achieve.
06/16/2008 Present Nice quote from Master Wu Quay from Kung Fu Panda, perhaps inspired by Spenser Johnson's The Present Yesterday is history Tomorrow is mystery Today is a gift That's why is call Present The Present is not the past and It is not the future, The Present is the present moment. The Present is Now!! 06/08/2008 World Environment Day 5th of June was annual World Environment Day. All the big shot corporates around the world were trying to do something, to tell the people that they care. But what they did kept me thinking, are they really care for the environment, or they just did it to mask up their reputation as a caring society? For example, a local giant developer did their bid for the World Environment Day by planting trees, released butterflies and birds. Sounds lovely? Stop just right there, RELEASED BUTTERFLIES AND BIRDS?? That doesn't sounds right to me. Butterflies and birds were captured, because the human wanted to show the world that they care for the environment. For god sake, butterflies and birds should be let free as it is. They are not show pets for us. We brutally interfered their freedom, then released them and claimed that we are noble, we are loving. How ironic is that? I hope in the future, all event organizers will think twice, before they plan to include birds/animals release ceremony. Why not starts be a loving human by stopping the brutal act in the first place. 03/09/2008 Broken englishAs we all know that there are millions of foreign workers in Malaysia, especially in food courts, those who serve us, and even some of the stalls owner are actually foreigners who learns to cook and became independent businessman. Some other place they conquered are construction site, janitors, and of course petrol station. I don't know why locals not interested to work at those place anymore, or maybe its because cost are lower to hire a foreign worker compared to local. Those who eat out a lot will sure encountered communication issue when ordering food. Cause we don't know whether we should order the food in our common dialect or translated English name which the foreign worker don't understand either. Well, thank god that some of them actually picked up local language pretty good. But somehow, the pronunciations sounds funny. Some weeks ago i went to a petrol station to fill petrol, I saw this rather interesting notice paste on credit card slot. "KAD OFF LANK" It suppose to be in Bahasa Melayu? Cause they use "kad" which means "card" in english. Then the "off lank"............... New language created by foreign workers meaning "Off line". Why can't the manager, who i believe is someone who had received higher education and has better english to verify the notice before the workers paste it all over the whole station and displayed it to all thousands on patrons. Shame.. 03/03/2008 Election 2008According to the 100% accurate kennysia.com Who-To-Vote-This-Election Decision Generator™, I am voting for...
DEMOCRATIC ACTION PARTY! 12/18/2006 My goodnessReporting for 15.12.2006 Friday
On the 15.12.0006, some where on the NPE highway, just merely 200m in front of Sunway Pyramid, 2 cars, one iswara aeroback 1.3 another BMW 318i collided. All that took less than 5 seconds at 1940hrs.
I was blank for a few minutes before i could call myself back to the scene. The first thing i did is jump out from my car and check out the BMW, thinking that this really gonna burst my wallet to compensate this gorgeous black BMW. For a second, i was actually delighted that BMW only have minor scratches on the bumpers. And as i turn my head back to my car, FUH!!!! i almost got fainted. MY GOODNESS. My car is seriously damaged, dented and even smoked from underneath bonnet.
![]() At that point, i was panic. And the BMW driver already started asking for my contact number and IC number for making claim. Out of nowhere, there is this two jinjang ah beng appeared to offer help for towing my car, repairing, refurnishing...etc.
The first number i dialed was to my car insurance toll free number. As the call gets through, i heard "Untuk bahasa malaysia, sila tekan satu; For english, please press two". AAAHHHHH!!!!! At that situation, i'm expecting direct answering from a lively human being, not a answering machine. But since that i have no choice, i pressed two for english. And then i heard "Our office hour is 0830-1830hrs..." Oh no....what should i do??? Its already past office hour. Once again, i panicked.
I crawled back to my car, put my ass on drive seat, called my colleague, listened to some familiar voice to tame me down, had few sips of water. And i decided to call my car insurance toll free number again, this time i called inside my car. And then i realised the machine do have something else to say after announcing their office hour, "for emergency car accident, please press one.." Ouh......i QUICKLY press one "gao gao" to get the phone operator. Thats really a relief.
And so on, many phone calls followed to confirm workshop, to check the status of car towing. More offers of service from the highway watchers, more rejection from me. I was like, "Sorry guys, i'm engaged (to my insurance company)". Thats even a ang moh in the business. Unbelievable.
I waited for more than an hour for car towing, because they have to come from Klang, as i choose a panel workshop from Klang.
Anyhow, my car still in workshop now. It might takes 10 days to fix my baby. wuwuwu......
